Pricing Overview for Private Events
Our pricing model operates on a range of factors we use to accommodate our guests' needs. Some aspects include event type, length of stay, and number of guests expected.
In general, for most private events, weekday rental starts at $5,500.

For micro-weddings, please inquire with our team. Each wedding celebration is tailored to the couple and we want to be able to create your unique experience at the estate based on your needs and tastes. A conversation about your vision for your wedding and/or reception will help us to more fully understand your event type and experience so that we can accommodate you and your guests during the day, or overnight if desired.
Micro-Weddings
The estate is the perfect private estate wedding venue for an intimate, micro-wedding that elegantly accommodates a guest list of 20 up to 200. We require that you have a day-of wedding coordinator to orchestrate the events on the day-of your wedding at Mallard Hall estate. We have concierge services available to accommodate your needs from set up to take-down, decoration, floral rentals, transportation — you name it!
Please note, after 200 guests we require hosts to rent an outdoor tent to adequately accommodate guests.
Animals at weddings — we do!

Mallard Hall estate is a unique event space in that we can accommodate bespoke, special experiences for your black-tie wedding from alpacas or beer burrows (miniature donkeys carrying beverages around to guests!). The animals come with a handler and are available for an hour during the refreshment hour to delight guests with their presence.

Dreaming of including a horse in your wedding?

Mallard Hall estate has the ability to have horses on the property in support of your dream for ride-in events. This includes but is not limited to a horse drawn carriage, bride entrance on horseback, a reception entrance together on horseback, or bridal photography with a real horse.

Furnished Property for Rent | Kentucky Derby House Package
The ultimate Derby experience is complete when paired with luxury accommodations at Mallard Hall estate after a long day(s) spent at the track. Picture yourself and your closest comrades enjoying time together — checking off your bucket list visit to Churchill Downs — and concluding the day unwinding together downstairs in the speakeasy or grilling poolside, swapping stories from the day in the hot tub.
The estate is a 27-minute drive from the famed Twin Spires, we can easily arrange private or group transportation. As one of the few luxury Kentucky Derby houses for rent, we require a 4-night minimum stay the week of the Derby starting Wednesday through Sunday. Traditionally, the Kentucky Derby race itself is run on the first Saturday in May.
This elevated rental property features a 7-bedroom house for rent in Louisville with a billiards room that features stacking sliding doors leading out to the landscaped pool and hot tub patio as well as a swanky basement retreat. Luxury you won’t want to leave.
Our private rental is available to host corporate VIP visitors, groups of couples, or visiting high profile personalities and celebrities.
Did we mention there are private laundry machines (stacked washer & dryer) adjacent to the main bedrooms?​

Valhalla Golf Club calls Louisville home and has hosted several professional tournaments in the past. The grounds boast private courses as well as a handful of well-kept public courses.

Groups of up to 18 total can sleep (very) comfortably overnight at Mallard Hall estate. The home also sleeps up to 9 couples. We recommend contacting us to help accommodate your group accordingly.

Corporate Events, Retreats & Leadership Offsite Meetings
​​Gathering the troops for a fun evening or day of team-building activities? Reserve our expansive first floor that has walkout doors to the outdoor space with an indoor/outdoor kitchen, billiards room and pool. Or walk around to the east side of the property to enjoy a quieter scene by our duck pond. Mallard Hall estate can host groups from 10 to 100.
​Board meetings from 10 to larger gatherings like corporate retreats. Change the scenery for your executive leadership team to come together and create the vision and strategic plan for your company or business.
We have several areas of the estate that serve as gathering points designed for deepening relationships with key stakeholders. Please let our special events team know if you would like a list of recommended chefs and catering companies to accommodate your team. Most companies rent out the estate for a full day for their event. We require corporate events to be full daily rental.​
Location Filmmaking & Motion Picture Production
If you are a location manager or filmmaker looking to use the estate for a short term or long-term rental as a location for your motion picture film or music video, please reach out to us with details so that we can accommodate you accordingly. We understand not every production runs exactly on schedule.
